ThenNow
Yesterday we went to the funeral home. Mr. Watkins, the father of a man my dad was in high school with, died last Sunday. Please pray for the Watkins family.
We were going to the funeral home before church yesterday, but there was such a huge crowd there, that it took us 2 hours to go through the line. And we got there 5 minutes after receiving time. By the time we got out there was only a half an hour left of church, and it takes us 40 minutes to get to church, so we returned home and Dad had a service for us. If we had known it would have been like that we would have tried going after church.

Hi all,
I hope you aren't missing the snow from Maryland as much as we
missed you all from Church. We
know your heart is still in the right place so figure there's no
reason for any other part of your
body to receive a beating ha, lol.
In other words, we forgive you for
being absent since you were pouring
your heart out in a sympathetic way
somewhere else where you were needed. No matter how close we
are to God and demonstrate His
likeness, He is still the only
one that can be in more than one
place at one time, so don't beat
yourself up over the choice you made. We hope the anxiety caused
from waiting so long and not being
able to get to church left you as
quick as the snow we just had. I
was hoping for a little more of
the white stuff but am thankful
God is in control or we would be
in a big mess since everyone wants something different. Hope to see
you Sunday if the weather permits
since I think the weathermen are
expecting something else to fall
on Saturday. At least you have a
preacher in the family to give you
a message when you can't get to
church. I'm not to thrilled when
my husband preaches to me. ha, lol. Guess I'll have to try not
giving him reason to think he
has to, right? Well in that case
I'd better get off the computer and see if I've completed all
his orders for the night. lol
Love ya, Jewel
Mrs. Jewel,
You're a nut! :)
We really, really missed being at church last Wednesday. Like I said, if we had it to do over, we would have gone to the funeral home after church, but you can't always plan ahead. :(
