I walked into Wal-Mart Friday afternoon with Gera and Pawpaw Miller. Gera and I were going to the bathroom when we heard, “Hey there! Yeah, sure, ignore the robot.” We looked, and there in the Produce section was a robot, with one man at his right, and another on the left. (They were ventriloquists.) We laughed and then went on to the bathroom. Later, when we walked past the robot he was “talking” to a little boy. “Hey, what’s your name?” “Andy.” “Hi, Andy. Hey, you right there,” (speaking to the ventriloquist,) “give Andy a piece of candy. Let him pick a piece of candy. Now!” We laughed and talked about R.I.C.K. “Hey, Gera, want to go see R.I.C.K.?” “No, but you really need to go get a piece of candy from him. He seems harmless.” And on and on it went for the rests of the shopping trip. (I never got my piece of candy. :( Oh well. :) ) As we left I looked at him, and he started to sing to me! :) I don’t know what he sang, but we laughed. It ain’t his voice or his singing that sticks out to me. It’s that he looked like recycled junk! Want to go see him? I’m not sure, but he may still be at the Lexington Wal-Mart!

They just redid a new Wal*Mart around here and they have all kinds of neat stuff. I can't say that we have a robot like ya'll but I'm glad you got a laugh out of him!
