Hey everybody! Sorry I haven’t updated this in a while. My grandpa’s computer has been in the shop, and I didn’t think of taking my laptop up to my grandparent’s house and hooking it up, until my friend at church mentioned it. :) So I got on the Internet on Monday, and Monday evening, Grandpa got his computer back. Oh well. :) At least I know how to hook my computer up now! :)
We had a great time down at the beach. I got a hermit crab! So did Shanna. I named mine Coral and Shanna named hers Reef. :) Shanna’s is much more outgoing than mine. :( Mine hardly ever comes out of its shell! :)
When we arrived at Atlantic Beach on Saturday, we were all so excited. Gerald Jr. just looked from one side to the other, and then plopped down on the sand to take his shoes off. :) We girls immediately started to pick up seashells. I found this beautiful white oval shaped thing, with a star in the middle, and ridges on the outside. I thought I had found something unusual from the bottom of the sea. Excited, I showed it to Dad and asked him what it was. He said, “Wow, Gera! I’m so proud of you! You found your very own bottle cap!” :) LOL! After that, anytime someone picked up a piece of trash, they would say it was a “Gera find.” :)
On Sunday, after church services, everyone went outside to the yard, where some adults were throwing candy out. They were having a “10,000 Piece Candy Scramble” with the age groups divided into; up to five, six to eight, nine to twelve, thirteen to nineteen, and they even had a division for the adults! :) We had a lot of fun.
I have to say, that I loved getting to see the beach, but I enjoyed seeing the FBN radio stations, going to Grace Baptist Church, and meeting new people, more than I did seeing the “Big Water”, as Gerald Jr. calls the ocean. :) They really are doing a work for the Lord there in Newport. Please pray for their radio station, as well as their other ministries.
In Christ,
~Gera~

P.S. I do have some pictures to post, but brought the wrong memory card with me when I came up here. Hopefully I'll get them on soon!
