Good morning, everybody! Today we have about 7 inches of snow and ice on the ground. I love to see the snow come. Dad preached yesterday morning on the “Treasures of the Snow” found in Job 28:32. He gave some different facts about the snow. He gave the example that the snow is Jesus’ blood, and when we get saved the snow (blood) covers all the sin in our life and makes us pretty. Like the litter and junk on the highway is covered when the snow comes, so our sins are covered when we ask Jesus into our hearts. It was a really good message.
I’ve finished my school for today, and am now trying to get Gerald Jr. asleep. He is a happy little fellow. He is trying to walk. He’s doing pretty well. He doesn’t have any teeth yet, but it looks like one will pop through soon.

I was thinking early one morning
Of how childhood is really quite short
When you hop around the room a while
On a stick horse-what a good sport!
Time lived as a toddler
What bliss to crawl around
And to be laughed at fondly
At the tiniest little sound.
I love the little babies
How wet and sweet their kiss
And when they’re grown, and you’re all alone
You’ll love to reminisce.
Hope you all are enjoying your winter! I am!
