…while I’m sixteen. :) Tomorrow is the first time that Easter has ever come on my birthday! (At least in my lifetime.) :) And it will never fall this way again in my lifetime! Exciting day! :)
We left the house this morning around 8:15 and went yardsaling. Mom and Shanna found some really great deals! First off Mom found a John Deere Gator and Trailer riding toy set for Gerald Jr. He loves it! Mom found lots of clothes for Ryana and Sarah, and Shanna found some, too.
After yardsaling we went to the North Carolina Zoo and used our tickets that we received last year as a “welcome home” gift. We really enjoyed ourselves. Gerald Jr. mostly enjoyed growling at the lions, calling in the “buck” (elk) and “talking” to the gorillas. There were lots of children and babies there, and I enjoyed watching them as much, if not more, than the animals! :) One little boy, who looked to be about 18 months old, laughed his head off every time the grizzly bear made the slightest movement.
At the zebra and giraffe exhibit a man had a table set up with some different giraffe and zebra bones. He had one bone that slightly resembled an angel, and he had Mom to guess what it was. And she guessed it correctly! It was a neck vertebra from a giraffe. A human’s is about 1 inch in size, but the giraffe’s was about 7 inches!
When we finished looking at all the animals we took the “zebra bus” back to our entrance. We had a lot of fun@
Hope you all have a Happy, Holy Easter!

Yay for the zoo, it's always fun! We're going in a few weeks with Matt, D, and Meredith, and I can't wait to see how she will react to the animals! :)
