Happy Birthday From Your Family!

We can’t believe our little boy is two years old today! What a joy he is. He woke up bright and early at 5:18 this morning, so he got to spend a lot of time with his dad before he had to leave for work. Gera went right to the piano to play all his favorite songs: Jesus Loves Me, Deep and Wide, One of these Days (We’re Going Home With Jesus) and If You’re Happy and You Know It.
He was all smiles when his dad presented him with his first real Tonka…a dump truck. Of course, he taught him the backing up beep beep beep sounds and how to fill it up with animals and then dump them.
We weren’t sure how to celebrate with him since his birthday fell on a Wednesday. His dad has to work until 5:30 today, rush home, shave, gulp down the birthday meal and load us all up and head to church. He’s preaching tonight at our home church so he’ll need a few minutes to look over his message too. So I wasn’t able to plan anything with family this time. We’re going with a “John Deere” Farm theme. So we’ll decorate while he naps. Gera is planning on posting some pictures tomorrow.
Our birthday prayer for our little man is for wisdom to train him up for the Lord. That he will get saved young and live close to the Lord his whole life.
