Hey there!
Guess what we did Saturday, September 22nd! We went to the zoo! We had a wonderful time! A family from our church took our family. Gerald Jr. had the time of his life trying to figure out what noise all the animals make. :) He especially liked the elk. He kept bugling at them, calling out, “Buck! Buck!” and making gun shot noises. :) This one grizzly bear came over to a rock cliff and sat down with one leg hanging off the ledge. :)
Our week of revival went very well. No one got saved that we know of, but the sermons were tremendous!
Monday would have been Grandma’s (Mom’s mom’s) birthday if she were living. We went to her grave and Mom and Shanna put out fall flowers at it. Then we girls sang “A Birth I Can’t Forget”, “Resurrection Ground”, “Holy Ground”, “God Gives You His Grace” and “At the Crossing”. It was a very special time that we’ll all cherish.
From that cemetery we visited Mom’s grandparents’ graves, then we stopped by our aunt and uncle’s house for a visit. From there we went back home, got freshened up, picked Dad up and went to a nursing home. Dad preached and the church youth sang. On from there we went to the fellowship hall and had a Columbus Day Party. We played games and ate pizza. Thanks to Mrs. Beverly and Susanna for all the hard work they put into it! Oh! And Gerald Jr. won one of the candy corn counting contests! Hooray! :)
‘Till later,

Hi Gera,
Sounds like you all are having fun! We went to the San Diego zoo quite a few times when we were living in CA and it was really, really neat! It's like the biggest zoo in the U.S. or something like that. Looking forward to hearing of more adventures!

I'm waiting for another post any day now!
Anonymous,
I'm sorry. :( We've been really busy lately. Sunday through Wednesday (today) we've had meetings every day, and we have the girls schooling, and the housework too, so it's been really busy. I'll try to get one on later this week. :)
Gera
I'll be looking for more posts!
