I'm Back!

Hey there!
This week has been a blur. Sunday Dad filled in for a church all day (meaning, they had a meal and opened up the prophet’s quarters for us.) Monday Dad preached a revival for his aunt’s church. Oh yeah, we sang both Sunday and Monday as well. Tuesday we went to a revival meeting. The preacher asked us to sing there, too. Wednesday night found us at our home church. After service they had a business meeting, for all the members to vote on the offices of the church. I am now the official organ player of the church. Shanna plays the guitar, so she’s an instrumentalist. Dad’s an usher, is on the soul winning committee, and is one of the Sunday school teachers of the adult married class. Mom is one of the teachers in the Junior’s class.
Thursday our Grandparents took Shanna and I on a shopping trip. We went to Goodwill first, where Grandma found a couple outfits, Shanna found some skirts, tops, and a pair of shoes, and I found a skirt set, another top to match the skirt, and a top to match a skirt I’ll be making. Pawpaw and Mawmaw bought the girls a Christmas miniature tea set. Next we went to Wal-Mart. Our Grandparents did some grocery shopping, and also bought some beads for Shanna to make necklaces to match our “new” clothing. Afterwards we ate at McDonald’s.
When we were done eating we went to the Vietnam Memorial. It was beautiful. Then we went to a different Wal-Mart and Shanna bought a camera she had been saving for. (She’s really excited about that. :) ) Grandma and Grandpa bought me a pack of extra-extra-large bandages for a “terrible gash” on my leg, but that’s another story. :) We had a very enjoyable time.
When we got home Mom had painted the playhouse to match our home. It looks great! She’s painting the “tree house/deer stand” now.
All for now!

you and your family. I'm thankful
you're all willing to accept special responsibilities in church. It's a blessing to have you
all as part of our church family.I'll be waiting to hear more including why you have a big
gash on your leg. Love Jewel

Mrs. Jewel and Jennifer,
Thanks for stopping by!

Mrs. Jewel,
I'm typing a post up right now that will answer the question about the "gash". :)
