An Update

We’ve had a lot going on here recently. Last week was our second week of Campmeeting (we couldn’t go the first week because some of us were sick, and Dad wasn’t released by the doctors yet.) Thankfully, we were able to go every night to the second week of campmeeting. The preaching was really good. Two people got saved the first week of campmeeting, and though no one got saved during the second week (to my knowledge) one lady did get saved a couple days later. Praise God!
This past Sunday Dad preached at the Farm Park (home of the South East Old Threshers’ Reunion) and we girls sang two songs for a 9:00 am service. Then we drove over to a local church where Dad was to preach both the morning and evening services. During the evening service while we girls were singing “No Need to Doubt Him Now” a young man came forward and got saved! Praise God! He told my dad after the service that God had been dealing with him for a while, but he’d been putting it off. But when we sang, he said he couldn’t ignore God anymore. Please pray for him. His name is William.
Ever since Dad’s eye injury, the Lord has given him so many ministry opportunities. Since the accident, there have been 16 opportunities to come his way. Praise God! Dad’s eye is not completely healed yet (we still have to keep it dilated to keep the pressure down) but he’s come a long way. We are so thankful to God for restoring Dad’s sight!

Wow! Praise the Lord for the wonderful opportunities and that your dad's eyesight is better! Great!
