Frozen water, that is. We went down to a nearby lake yesterday, because Dad and Mom wanted some pictures. They asked for pictures…and they got them! I took a total of 66 pictures while out. :) Needless to say, I didn’t post them all on here. That would have taken forever to load. :)But I did post a few. I got out of the van to take the pictures, but Dad wanted to get closer to the lake, so I followed him. I went to the very edge and started taking pictures. “Let’s get out on the lake!” Dad said. “What?! On the lake?! We’ll break through the ice!” “No we won’t; look, here are snowmobile tracks out on the lake; if the ice will hold a snowmobile, then surely it will hold us up.” “Ok, Dad, I’ll come with you.” Needless to say, I was scared and PRAYING all the way out on the lake. I tried to walk in Dad’s footsteps so the snow wouldn’t be up to my knees. Once I took a step and my foot sunk. “AHHH! I’M BREAKING THROUGH!!” When I finally noticed that I hadn’t gone through the ice, I looked down, and realized I had only sunk through where the sleet had laid a few days before. Oh well. :) Once I was out there for a while, I wasn’t as scared as I was before. Sarah saw where we were and wasn’t about to be left out. Mom made sure she got down safely, and then went back to the van to sit with Gerald Jr. and Faith. Faith was asleep in her car seat. After I had taken SEVERAL pictures, we went back to the van, and Dad took Mom out on the ice. Mom kidded saying that we were walking on water just like Peter did. :) Here are the pictures I promised.
A higher view of the lake.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

WOW!!! That doesn't even look like a lake!!! Could you have skated on it??
Courtney,
Yes, last year we saw people out on the ice skating...I haven't seen any out there so far this year...it might have to do with it that we haven't been out there this year but that one day this week. :)
Oh! I guess that could be the reason why.......LOL!!
