Hope you all had a nice Valentine’s Day. Ours was very special. Gerald had received a gift certificate to Golden Corral from a friend for Christmas and he had saved it to take us all out for Valentine’s Day. I fixed pancakes for breakfast, then Gerald Jr. and Gerald Sr. gave out their gifts to all their sweethearts and received theirs from their sweethearts. We then got ready to go visiting. We first stopped by to see Mrs. Briles, the widow lady we take to church with us on Sunday nights. Gerald Loren gave her some flowers with a balloon, and a big card filled with candy. She was so surprised. We then visited with her at her sister’s house. Her brother-in-law has cancer and isn’t well. The girls sang two songs for him, but he couldn’t hear well. His wife really enjoyed it. She is so sweet. We enjoyed our visit. After Gerald took us out for lunch we visited Bro. Willie, the man we take to church every other Sunday. He’s been too sick to go since before Christmas. He was very emotional so we stayed until his family got there. We love him so much. He turned 94 this year.
It was dark when we got home, but we had a wonderful time.

It was good to be able to read about all your recent adventures and good deeds... I'm thankful to know a family that follows Gods' well and goes where He leads...
Your faithfullness and obedience to that is such a blessing to so many people...I know that because I'm one of those that's blessed when you all attend the same building I do with a steeple.
Thank you for keeping us updated about the things going on in your family...May God continue to watch over you and pour out in abundance His blessings upon thee... Love Jewel
