We received a call on the way to church this morning from some friends up in Maryland. They attend the church where my dad was the Pastor’s assistant and church school teacher. They told us that Bro. Mike, the song leader, had passed away this morning at 1:00. He had woke up complaining with chest pains and died immediately. It was a shock to us. He was only in his early 30’s. He had 4 young children, ages 9 and under. Please pray for his family, especially his wife, Becky. I know it must be very hard on her to be widowed so young.
We never know when our time will be to go home, so let’s make sure we’re ready.

Hi Gera,
Thank you for seizing this
opportunity even when your heart
is sad and heavy with grief for
a friend to remind those that
may be still out in the world
without the hope of a living
Savior that He still stands at the door knocking waiting for them to invite Him in before it is to late.
We can't understand the reason for
the things that happen because we
can't see into the future and gain
insight of how God can use each
circumstance good or bad that comes into our life to bring Him
honor and glory. When we recognize the needs of others and begin to pray for them, it in turn srengthens our relationship with our Father as we communicate more with Him. Well I didn't mean for this to turn in to a sermon since I don't believe in women preaching but I just wanted to thank you for expressing your sympathy for the berieved and concern for the lost.
God bless you and I will be praying
for the berieved family. Love Jewel

You’ve been given the “Kindred Spirit” award at my blog. Thank you for your friendship and encouragement!
Thank you all for your prayers for this family. The funeral was last Friday. Please continue to pray, as it will continue to be hard on them.
