The Sonogram!

Well, Mom had the sonogram done yesterday. Our whole family got to be in the room while it was being done. Guess what the baby is? Another girl! Yippee! (That’s what I voted for. :) ) I can’t wait to put those cute little girly headbands on her head! When we told Gerald Jr. that Mommy’s baby was a girl, he said, “No! Boy!” After a while he got frustrated, so when we said “baby girl” again, he said, “No! John Deere!” and reached for his toy tractor. :) Then as we were riding down the road, all of us still excited about the baby, Gerald Jr. says “Oh well, try again!” He’s a nut! :)
So, just for fun, we’d like for each of you to give us an idea for a baby girl name. We also would like ideas for a middle name that begins with an “L”, as all of our middle names begin with the same. :) Dad and Mom aren’t going to tell us the baby’s name until she’s born. :( But we’d still like to hear any ideas you might have!
God bless!

Hmm, L names...Lulabelle!! LOL, ok just kidding. :P I can't think of many more good L names besides the ones in yall's middle names already. I like "Loraine" and it sounds kinda like yall's names Loren, Lorena, and Lauren. The only other one I could think of so far is Laci. Oh yeah, plus there's the names from our Charlotte Brown play-- Lucy and Linette. I'll keep tryin to think of more good ones!

Oh yes, congrats on having a future baby sister!! I do feel sorry for little Gerald though! I know how it feels to be in a family of the opposite sex, and I know it's got to be even harder for him since he'll have 6 siblings instead of just 4. Plus, I think it's easier in my case too cause I was a country girl and still liked to do all the "guy stuff" with my brothers...but it don't really work the opposite way, I doubt he'll care very much to do "girl stuff"! lol. At least we all hope not, huh. :P

Congratulations on the news!!! My sister's middle name is "Lynn" and my mother's middle name is "Laurene". I don't know if that helps any. I am glad to hear from y'all and am happy for your future addition. May God richly bless you!

Hi and congratulations on the new
upcoming addition. You can't leave
out Lucille or Lawanda. I have a
sister with that name but she somehow dropped the La and we just
call her Wanda. There is also Lorrita (sp?), Lucinda, Louise, Lois, Lori, Lena, Lenora. Okay I
had better stop or else I will run
out of choices and then end up
being disappointed that you didn't
pick one that I said. ha! It's
hard not knowing the first name, what will go best with it, but I'm
sure whatever your Mom or both
parents pick out will be as sweet
as the rest of your families names are. We might have to extend the
wall behind the piano to give you
all room to stand to sing. I guess
you can tell I'm not looking forward to the time when your family may decide to leave our
church to share your ministry elsewhere especially since your
family is what helps make up our
youth choir that is such a blessing. Speaking of blessings,
I'm thankful for how the Lord has
helped your Dads' health to improve and is taking care of your
needs. I'm looking forward to Him
continuing to bless and use you all
to be a blessing to our church. Love Jewel

I would vote for Linette, but Lydia is pretty as well. I pray all is going well with the family.

Susanna,
You are Crazy! :) But you had some pretty good ideas, anyway. :)

Jennifer,
Thanks! Good suggestions!

Jared,
Thanks for the ideas! Ryana's middle name is Lynn, too!

Mrs. Jewel,
Whew! Were you looking at a baby names book? :) That sure was a lot of names!

Bro. Jack,
Thanks for stopping by! I can understand why you would like those names! :) I had acctually suggested the name "Linette" to Mom! :)

Thank you all for the suggestions, and keep them coming! Don't forget; we need first name ideas too!

I was thinking that Tiffany Leanne would be nice. Well, maybe not the Tiffany, but I really like Leanne! My sisters and I have play characters and one of them is Bethany Leanne, which I like as well. But I think Lydia is really nice too...especially since one of my little sisters is named that!
