Please help us pray. We live outside of a small town, and this coming May the commissioners are having the residents of our town vote on whether or not to allow alcohol sales in our town. PLEASE HELP US PRAY AGAINST IT! Since we live outside of town we are not allowed to vote (which I think we should, but that’s another story) but we are allowed to write letters to the editor, which all us children have done. We know God is stronger than the power of the devil, but we also know He will allow things to happen to teach us a lesson. Please pray that enough Christians inside our town will say NO to the alcohol vote. A local church is having a meeting tonight for all the concerned citizens to come to. Mom and Dad are planning to go. Please help us PRAY!

I think Pilot Mtn has it coming up too....."by the drink." You can get it at the grocery store, which I don't like. They did not have it at the store when we lived in Wallburg and I was glad. We moved and then I had to explain it to Elizabeth every time we went to the store. And you know how children like to discuss things over and over and over.
We'll pray that this doesn't pass.

I'll be praying that the bill won't pass. Recently (within the past couple of years) our town passed that law, so that is not great at all! It means more drunken, rowdy people!

Glad to hear from you! Yeah, We've lived in two towns where they alowed alcohol sales. We don't want our town to end up like that!
