Happy Belated Birthday, Faith!
Faith had a wonderful birthday. A few days before her birthday a lady at church asked her what she would like. Without hesitating she replied, “I want a chicken, a pig, and a chocolate pecan pie.” :) We were so surprised at her requests! The lady laughed and said, “I’ll see what I can do.” Later on Shanna found a little plastic pig and piglet figurine set in a small basket. She said she just had to get it for Faith. Then my grandparents and the lady at church made her the chocolate pecan pies! Boy, were they good! After lunch we went to see my mom’s side of the family, who lives over an hour away. Guess what they served us for supper? Fried chicken! :) Faith was so excited! Everything she wanted she received. :)

I'm glad Faith got all the things
she wanted for her birthday and
also enjoyed receiving a few things
that weren't on her list. I should
have asked before making my
choices so I could have helped to
make her wishes come true, but I
guess she is like everyone else
and also likes to receive a few surprises now and then. It is no
surprise how much God loves us
since He always meets our needs,
and grants us with many extra
blessings along the way, as well;
just like our Pastor preached
about tonight, God gives us
hands full on purpose. What a

Oh, she enjoyed all of her gifts. We enjoyed coloring with her crayons. The type of twist-a-crayons they were made them feel like coloring with lipstick! How neat! :)
