Whew! Busy!

This week and last I have been very busy working on our church’s address list. Dad preached at two different churches on Sunday. At the first church Dad saw one of his classmates that he hadn’t seen in years, and at the evening services, Mom saw one of her classmates. We didn’t know that either one went to these churches.
Last Thursday we went to a revival service, and saw a family that we know we’ve seen before, but we just can’t place where. Don’t you just hate it when that happens!?
We’ve had colds going around in our family. Faith got it first, then gave it to Gerald Jr., and Gerald gave it to everybody else, because he gives everybody kisses. :)
Oh! I forgot to add one exciting thing that happened on Sunday! We had some guests all the way from Pennsylvania come by for a visit! The man is a pastor up there, and they have been a great blessing to us as long as we’ve known them. They had been on vacation in South Carolina and were traveling back home, and decided to stop by for a visit. It was so good to see them! They spent two hours at our home, and we wish it had been much more. But they surprised us again when we went to church that evening. They came too! They got to hear Dad preach.
Well, that’s it for not. Sorry it isn’t more, but I’ve got to get back home.

Hi Gera and all the Miller gang,
I look forward to reading your post and leaving you a comment since when we see each other at
church we don't take time to share
about our life much. It is strange
and exciting to go to a different
place and see some one you know
without expecting to. Just think
how exciting it will be when we get
to heaven. I have friends and loved ones who have not yet been
saved that I hope you will help me
pray for, so when resurrection day
comes they will be there with me to
worship and praise our Lord and
Savior throughout eternity. What a
joyous and exciting day that will be. Thanks for sharing your thoughts that inspired me to anticipate the special homegoing
we have to look forward to.

Kristen,
Yay! You're down here! When will I get to see you?

Mrs. Jewl,
Thanks for your encouraging emails! It will be exciting when we go to heaven and see our friends and loved ones! I'll be praying for your unsaved loved ones.

Usually too busy to take time to comment, but I was wondering where y'all went to revival? I couldn't remember which church was having revival last week, and I was just curious.

Can't wait to see ya again Sunday. Even though there were more young people there last week, I still felt kinda lonesome. :P See ya!

Susanna,
I emailed a reply to you. I don't like to give that kind of information out on the blog, for security reasons. :)
