Up to Date

What unusual weather we have been having! Sunday through Tuesday we had snow, and by the end of the week it was all gone and we were enjoying weather in the eighties! Right now it is 81 degrees. Isn’t it nice!
Dad preached yesterday in the am and pm services. The people at this church were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. My Aunt Lisa (my Grandpa Miller’s sister) came to both the morning and evening services, and Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Mark came to the evening service. In between services my Aunt Lisa took us out to eat at Cracker Barrel. The meal was very good. After we ate we went to the hospital to see my dad’s coworker and his wife. They had their baby last Friday. He is so tiny!
After visiting at the hospital we came back home to rest a few minutes. On the way back to church we picked up Mrs. Briles to go with us.
On the way to church that morning we traveled on a very curvy road. Poor Sarah gets carsick on very curvy roads. Yesterday was no exception. She felt miserable. Needless to say, when we went to church that night we went a different way.
Well, there really isn’t anything else going on right now…a bracket popped off of my molar last night (don’t ask me how…I wasn’t even eating anything) so I have to make a special trip to the orthodontist on Thursday. But that’s about it. :)
