Dad's Feeling Better!

Whew! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything! Sorry! Shanna, Ryana and I worked at the 38th Annual Southeast Old Thresher’s Reunion the week of the fourth. (My aunt’s parents are the ones that own it.) We’re still trying to get housework caught up from that. Shanna and I sold tickets from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (most days) and Ryana tore tickets and stamped hands from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. It was a lot of fun, but tiring. :)
Dad is recovering very well from his surgery. He had an appointment yesterday with his doctor, and the doctor said he was 95% POSSITIVE that Dad’s appendix was his problem all along! PRAISE GOD! Dad is off of that high-powered medicine now, and is on TYLENOL and IBUPROFEN! HALLELUJAH! :) Dad’s tape that covered his incisions has fallen off, but the doctor said there were stitches on the inside, so he still has to take it easy and not lift anything over 20 pounds for 2-3 weeks. BUT HE’S STILL RECOVERING! YIPPEE! He went back to work this past Monday. He was so glad to get back. :) Please continue to pray for him.

Rejoicing,~Gera~

Hi Gera,
"As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far
country." (Proverbs 25:25) You are
not in another country or so very
far away but it diffinitely is good to hear the good news about
your father and how the Lord is
blessing your family which happens to include me when you consider
the fact we are blood related
through Christ. I trust that His
blessings will continue to be
multiplied unto your family and
be the source of your strength.
I was glad I got a ride from you
at the Thresher's reunion since the hills we face in life are
sometimes hard to climb alone.
But since the Lord has came
into my life I have never really
been alone, right? It is great
to be on the receiving and giving end of HIs blessings and allow
Him to use us for His honor to
bless others. I will continue to
watch for these updates about
your family and hope they will
all be as encouraging as this one. Love Jewel

Hi Miller Family,
So glad to hear Mr.Miller is doing much better. Pastor had mentioned a few weeks back about him getting surgery. Hope you all are doing well.
It's been awhile since I've talked to Shanna, so I'll have to get to that! :)
Love,
Desirae
