Christmas 2007

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas 2007! We did at our house. Since we were moved back for Christmas this year our gatherings were doubled. We really enjoyed seeing everyone. We got to visit 3 nursing homes and the girls helped with 2 Christmas programs. We attended a nearby revival at the first of the month.
Gerald continued his tradition of cooking breakfast Christmas morning and inviting the grandparents. It’s been years since we’ve been able to see them on Christmas morning. It was so special.
We almost finished out the old year with us all in good health. Gerald Sr. started hurting in his side, where his pain always is, this past weekend. He wasn’t able to go to church Sunday or work today (Monday). It rained all day here Sunday so we knew Gerald would be hurting and jerking with spasms all day-and he did. He became nauseated and threw up. Today around noon he ate a little and asked for his Bible. He’s supposed to preach at a Watch Night Service tonight. Please pray he’s well enough to go. The girls will also be singing at it.
A lot of people have asked if the girls have recorded anymore CD’s and the answer is no. Their last one was in May before we moved. We do not have access to recording equipment now. They found out about a piece of equipment that would work with our sound system and they could record here at home. They are saving for that now and are half way there. So hopefully they will be recording again soon.
The girls (Shanna and Gera) got moved back into their room before Christmas. I still have a little touching up to do in there, but it will have to wait until Christmas décor is put away.
We’ll try to write again tomorrow to update about how Gerald’s doing.
God bless you all!
~Vicky~
