Hello, Blog Readers! I’m here, once again with an update on the Miller family. Yesterday (Sunday) we went to a family reunion after church that morning. Talk about some goooooooooooooood eating! It was the 92nd reunion on that side of the family. (My mom’s great uncle’s family.) We had a great time, and once again Gerald Jr. was the youngest member of the family, unless you count the baby that is due in two weeks. :) One member of the family had died (My mom’s mom,) and there was one member there who wasn’t last year (my Dad.) It was great getting to see all of that side of the family again. We stayed with my great uncle and aunt afterwards, until it was time to go back to church. One of Mom’s cousins that lives right next door taught Shanna and I some more on the guitar, and gave me a chord chart for the guitar. He also brought out his Autoharp and taught me how to play it. It was a lot of fun!
Shanna is now playing the guitar for church. A girl at church is playing the mandolin, her mom the piano, and I’m playing the organ. It’s so much fun playing for the church.
Please pray for my aunt’s (my dad’s sister-in-law) family. She just lost her grandmother.
Dad is still doing good and praying for direction from God. He applied at four more businesses last week and preached once. So far he has three more places of business to check on this week and another place to preach. He has had the opportunity to wash and wax some vehicles and that gives him gas money to job hunt and attend more church services. It’s exciting to see God taking care of our needs and giving us opportunities to serve Him.
Will try to update more regularly now.
Well that’s about it. Tata!

I have a lot of fun playing for the church too! I had really missed playing music with other young people, and now I love it that we can all play and sing together again. :)

Susanna,
I think it's great that we can all play together, too! When we were in MD, we didn't have anyone to play instruments with, except when a missionary or evangelist came through. LOL!

I love music!!! My brothers have some instruments, but they hardly touch them anymore. :(
How is the job hunting going???
Courtney,
What type of instruments do your brothers have?
Dad's waiting to hear from one job. He's got an interview with them sometime this week. They sound really interested in hiring him. It's a Christian based company, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Please help us pray about this job.
