Just wanted to let everyone know that we get moved to NC safely without incident or accident. Praise the Lord!! Our 2 cats and 4 kittens made it here safely as well. We are able to move back into our own home. It's just walking distance from Gerald's parents and brother's homes. We haven't had any family living in the same state we were in for nearly 6 years and now we have real live grandparents on the same road!! Our home here is a lot smaller than the one we just moved from and we've had two more children since we moved away. So we really need to downsize...furniture and things, not children. :)
God continues to meet all our needs. Gerald's grandmother's house is still furnished, and we had been living there until last night, when we moved into our house. Later that (Gerald's grandmother's house) will be set up as Shanna's craft cottage. One room will be Gerald's office and a school room. These are projects we look forward to, but has to wait for now.
Shanna and I can't wait to work in the yard and plant our flowers we brought. Gerald's Mom and Dad worked in our yard Monday cutting back brush from our fence and weed eating. There's so much to do and we are all excited about getting it all back in shape again. Gerald and I worked in the attic, flooring it and organizing our "stuff". We are blessed with a huge attic with attic stairs. Everything we need to store is actually gonna fit and look nice up there. We had to keep taking breaks because of the heat. Gerald made me come down once because he said I was sounding different and I began to have chills of all things. I didn't want Gerald up there in case he passed out. I told him it would be easier to haul me down than him.
Gerald is still on a lot of pain medicine but is hoping to taper off soon. We know he's healing but it's just taking time. Please continue to pray for him. It's hard for him to accept that a lot of his strength is gone. Please pray for God to open doors for his ministry and thank Him for meeting our needs that way He has. God has never left us nor forsaken us.

Glad to hear that the move has gone on smoothly. I hope you guys get settled in quickly. I know its got to be rough moving from different states and starting off with only 4 children and coming back with 6. Maybe later on you can add a few rooms to the house. Or get a storage building and make the attic a room.
Glad you all are back safely. We are moving next weekend and I am beginning to dread it. I look forward to being settled!

Hope the settling in is going well. Glad all went well with the move. Take care and don't over do. It is so easy to do when we have so much that needs to get done.
